On the upcoming 47th anniversary, visitors to the Semarak Hall located on the 11th floor of Wisma Dang Bandang can enjoy a patriotic choir competition from 10:00am onwards, while those interested in exploring the Independence Day Exhibition can stopover at the Kota Kinabalu Community Hall at the same time. The celebration will continue from 4:00pm to 11:00pm at the Padang Merdeka in Kota Kinabalu with colourful cultural performances, a fireworks display, musical theater extravaganza, and stage presentation by various local artistes.
